What is the worst, best or weirdest job you’ve ever had?
In my last post, I talked a little bit about my weirdest job: I was a counselor/tie dye instructor at a youth fat camp for a summer. Hahaha, it was an interesting summer that year, that’s for sure.
I think the best job I’ve ever had is the one I have now - flight attendant. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
the best one that i ever had is being a stay at home mom!!! It pays more than anything in the world!
I would say motherhood is all three of those - best, weirdest and worst job, at different times. As a whole though it’s definitely the best of any other job I’ve had.
The best job I’ve ever had is being a SAHM! My second choice would be working at the Disneyland hotel. I really haven’t had any bad or weird jobs, they’ve all been in restaurants, or as a travel agent. Sure I’ve met some weird people, but the job itself is really fun!
My best would be a stay at home mom and now stay at home grandma. It’s great being available for the kids when they need help with the babies.
I’d say my worst, best and weirdest are all as a mother.
When my 20 month old puked all over my stomach (I was nursing), it was the worst. When they give me sweet hugs and tell me how much they love me, it’s the best. When they get their head stuck in a toy, it’s the weirdest.
I meant to add - thanks for visiting me.
I was one a ticket taker for a semi-professional wrestling show. Boy did I ever see some strange people attending those events. The saddest thing that I saw was a woman who was wearing a wrap around skirt that didn’t wrap all the way around.
My worst job was as a programmer. I had sleepless nights and usually code programs in my dreams!!
Sorry, I have to add, my first Aloha Friday is in my other blog. http://theparentingdiaries.com/aloha-friday/aloha-friday-1.html
My best job was probably when I first went to work in the public sector. For the first four years, I was as happy as a hog in mud.
My worst was probably also my first: At Straw Hat pizza the summer after I graduated from college. That was miserable for many reasons, not the least of which was the infantile managers who refused to let me watch Nixon resign. I had to go in the back with my radio and wash pizza pans while listening to his speech. They were out front watching the Three Stooges. There were no customers because everyone was at home watching the speech. Duh.

… my best, worst and weirdest job all at the same time - being a wife and mother!
thanks for dropping by my blog!
Hello! My most bizarre job was running a wig donation center at a cancer center for the chemotherapy patients. It was great to be able to help the patients but it always was kind of odd to walk into that room full of wigs on styrofoam heads. (Sorry I haven’t stopped by in awhile!)
Hi Meisha. Please pardon my late visit. My best job was working at Epson. It’s where I learned to value working as a team and it’s where I met a lot of wonderful friends. Even though I don’t work there anymore, I still keep in touch with my friends there.
Hmmm… none of my jobs in and of themselves were weird, but the people I worked WITH were another story! I mean, seriously, filmmakers, artists, gamers, but they have nothing on the psychos that I worked with at J Crew doing retail… and don’t get me started on the crazies at the bank when I was a teller! Good night!
